Long time, no chat. But all of you have been in our thoughts! The little movie we made together is still entertaining audiences around the country. We wanted to let you know about several upcoming screenings that we hope you can attend...or tell your friends to attend. In short, we want to see you again. In October, we will be appearing in two different film festivals on two different coasts. See details down below...

In November, however, we are having a very special screening event. On Saturday November 23, we will be joining with our friends the Plaza Playhouse Theater in Carpinteria for a joint fund-raising event. Proceeds will be shared evenly with our two organizations. We're hoping to help the Plaza secure enough funds to install a beautiful new projection screen. They want to help CFSSB stay healthy so we can stay on track to begin shooting our next feature in February 2014. Win-win.

Please join us in Carpinteria for this wonderful event. There will be two screenings on Saturday November 23rd. A 2pm matinee for only $10 and the gala screening with full reception for $50 at 5:30pm. Go to the website link below to get these space-limited tickets and help two great organizations at once. Come to Los Angeles and see The Bet on the big screen! We have been accepted into a very prestigious film festival, the LA Femme Film Festival, a festival run by women for women filmmakers. In order to even be considered, the film had to be directed, produced, and written by women. And, that would be "The Bet." We are super-excited to be a part of this festival and would REALLY love to have a giant turnout. Please plan to attend. Tell your friends and family. Let's pack the house.
